Quetzalcoatl, often portrayed as an incredibly large, winged rainbow serpent, is the patron of wisdom. He urges his followers to see not only what is before them, but also what it means. Quetzalcoatl both despises and admires Illusion magic, as it both presents a challenge to his followers, but also goes against all he believes in, the truth above all else.
